The fourth MobileMonday Sofia event will be held on 22 February 2010 at “Matti” hall in NDK (next to Hall 12), once again bringing together representatives of the mobile network operators, value-added service providers, mobile application developers, venture capital funds, entrepreneurs, students and media.
This time we will be focusing on start-up and venture capital stories: we will look at some success stories from different perspectives across the mobile industry: a venture capital fund, investing in mobile, a new mobile operator and a small, but fast-growing software development start-up.

Thank you all for coming to the third edition of MobileMonday Sofia at Matti hall last week. We had more than a hundred visitors again and we all enjoyed the presentations, focused on the business opportunities of mobile Internet. Our speakers shared valuable insight from their experience in Internet-based mobile applications, professional services and mobile media.
We received a few very interesting submissions for our regular ideas competition, making it difficult for the jury to choose from, but at the end it was Maria Rashkovska who took home the prize, courtesy of Nokia. Maria’s idea is to build a mobile web-based service for taxi cab location and orders.
We have already started to plan for the first of next year’s MobileMonday Sofia events and will keep you posted with more information soon, so stay tuned! Until then, we all wish you Merry Christmas and Hanukkah, and a Happy New Year!
