We are happy to announce that this Mobile Monday edition will be hosted by our friends from Mtel in their flagship Mtel Experience Store.
The event will be on never dying and always exciting topic – War of Devices. We choose players from different parts of the ecosystem – Device Vendor (HTC), Mobile operator (Mtel) and distribution channel (founders of 2be chain of stores).
We will also try a new event format. Instead of queued presentations we will create a discussion in panel format with all guests.
Our dear guests are: – Andreas Elsner (Director Very Small Enterprises and SOHO, Mtel) – Marko Savkovic (Marketing Manager Balkans at TCCM/HTC MasterDistributor for CEE) – Stanislava Arnaudova (founder and ex-managing partner of 2be chain of stores)
Panel will be moderated by Hristo Laskov, Hi tech journalist.

Andreas Elsner is Director SOHO/VSE Marketing in Mtel. He joined the company in February 2012. Andreas has long experience in Telekom Austria Group, taking various positions in product and services management area at A1 Telekom Austria and the Serbian Vip Mobile. In A1, in the role of Devices Management Head, he led the negotiations with Apple for the iPhone Group agreement.
Stanislava Arnaudova is one of the founders and ex-owners of 2be chain of stores. After the sale of the business in 2010 she continues to work in the field of wholesale distribution of accessories for mobile devices. Since the beginning of 2011 she works on state projects of cities and highway traffic management systems.

MobileMonday Sofia is back with a new exciting event on the 6th of February 2012. This time we will enjoy the hospitality of ‘Ginger’ club (at the corner of F. Nansen and V. Levski boulevards).
The main focus of the 9th MoMo Sofia will be Augmented Reality. This hot topic has been around for a while and we have all been blasted by amazing demos and presentations, but at our event we would like to dig further into the practical uses of AR technology in business. We will discuss how to create value-adding marketing applications and services to attract new customers and generate new revenue streams while having fun!
But that’s not all: our partners and good friends at RIM have provided us with some great presents for the MoMo Sofia community, so we’ll happily give away 1 Blackberry PlayBook and 5 Mobile World Congress passes (value of 700Eur each) for the MWC 2012 that wil take place this February in Barcelona! In return the guys at RIM would like to know which of you are the biggest Blackberry fans and get to know you better, so we decided to organize together a prize contest for each the MWC passes with the following categories:

A great chance to gather once again the mobile community with representatives of mobile network operators, value-added service providers, mobile application developers, venture capital funds, entrepreneurs, students, media or just people, passionate about mobile.
This will be the first event fully dedicated on the hot theme of mobile applications – a very dynamic area with great success stories, including from Bulgarian companies. While companies or independent developers were struggling in the past pushing their applications to the market though the heavy process of preloading or via big mobile operators, the arrival of the Applications Stores have democratized the use of applications and have drastically reduced the time to market and simplified the process.
